Pupil Advice for SATs Week (09/05/16 - 13/05/16)


Go to sleep earlier than usual
  • Sleep is often be beneficial
  • It means starting the day bright and ready
Don't skip breakfast 
  • Breakfast is an important meal of the day, but even more so when sitting exams
  • With tests often being in the morning, it's crucial something is eaten before starting the school day, even if feeling too nervous for breakfast
Keep revision quick and concise
  • If there is revision to do this week - keep it short and in bursts of 30 minutes. 
  • Use post-it notes / revision cards to boost already learned facts rather than read the textbooks.
